Overall Satisfaction with F5 BIG-IP
We use F5 BIG-IP for basic LTMS and Apm functionality.
LTM needs are basic application load balancing, We create these workloads for our prod environment and non-prod.
We have created APM solutions the last couple years for specific customer needs, primarily external facing customer needs.
We have also created federated solutions with an Oauth partner, this allows application access from separate domain.
The F5 BIG-IP has become key component for our business needs.

- Load balancing for our applications
- Identity management to support unique authorizations needs
- Saml configuration working with SaSS solution
Cons
- I want see certificate management updated, easier updates
- I would like to see the interface to be more intuitive
- The F5 BIG-IP has improved all our load balancing needs, we have over 400 LTM VIPs in our environment this all use to be done with DNS round Robin configurations.
