Overall Satisfaction with F5 Distributed Cloud WAF (Web Application Firewall)

We are using F5 Distributed Cloud WAF to protect our web sites from external attacks.

Pros

  • Protection against SQL Injection attacks.
  • Protection against bots

Cons

  • Analysis of the list of request, filters seem not to work properly. Is hard to find some events.
  • Integration with siem Cyrebro seems not to be possible
  • Improved security
It has been quite easy and fast to add our web sites under the F5. This allow us to increase security in a very short period of time.
F5 Distributed Cloud WAF was recommended to us by our provider.

Yes

Well suited to add an extra protection layer. It seem not to be well suited to integrate information with some Siems.
