Overall Satisfaction with FieldRoutes

FieldRoutes is the software used in our pest management business. We use it to schedule customers and routes for our technicians; we use the invoicing and collections aspect; we use the reporting features; we use the credit card features; we use the time clock, we use the route optimization; we use the email and SMS to contact customers; we use the dashboard for a quick glance at how the company is doing, and we use the diagramming tools to help our customers see what has been treated.
  • Scheduling routes.
  • Invoicing and finance charges for customers.
  • Time clock for employees checking in and out.
  • They just changed the way that the customer card looks and made it harder to negotiate.
  • There should be a way to put all of the wood-destroying pest inspections under a real estate company that orders them all.
  • There should be a button for those one time or only one service customers so that you don't have a bunch of customers that don't repeat.

We found that it works well for most of our needs. It is user-friendly and easy to use for both the office staff and the field staff. One problem that they have not been able to fix is for the field technicians to take credit cards in the field. We tried the beta program and unloaded and reloaded the software on the iPads, and we still have that problem.
