I use figma for user experience prototyping and it has been very helpful.
The mail use cases solved by figma are the user journey and how the users will interact with the system.
Various options are prepared in Figma and presented to the users to validate our understanding of the problem and a proposed solution.

- The options to add layers and clearly depict how the user interactions will appear.
- Option to switch between design view and review view is great
- The properties panel clearly display important data about the element being added is a great add on
- option to export as images is little hit and miss
- option to zoom in and zoom out can be more user friendly
- option to have gridlines on top of the design
- A huge positive is getting the engineer to imagine the user flow
- Quick turnaround for stakeholder feedback
- Easy maintaining all the different pages at one place
Figma is a great tool to get user flow depicted clearly which helps a lot in brainstorming sessions.
Also, maintaining different versions along with annotations is a great value addition to the overall design.
Option to present directly from figma is a great plus to stakeholders so that they can focus on design and not on the other properties
