Use Cases and Deployment Scope

FortiClient is best secure VPN for highly secured data connections. In my organization we are using it for communicating one system to other system for production grade application. Like real client data and MNC level companies data or government data. Which is stored or accessible from the URL. While accessing those highly confidential data security is essential part of it. Internet is not safe so data should be private and need to access with secure tunnel. This is a major problem in my organization which is fixed by FortiClient VPN!

Network connection speed enhancement

Return on Investment

Security is essential so we gain trust from clients!
Data has private so we don't need to worry about additional security.
More than 95% client needed more security which is fulfil by FortiClient.
Don't need to use additional securities like SSL certificate or SSH.

Usability

Whenever we are connecting with different part of URLs so we needed best secured connections. We are working on production level URL for different client so I can consider more than 90% usability! Yay, we almost connected with FortiClient to access any networking URLs. Internet connection is private and secured URL like database URL or logging URL are accessible via FortiClient! Hence it's highly usable.

Cisco Secure Connect, Fortinet FortiGate, CrowdStrike Falcon, Cloudflare and Ivanti Connect Secure

My current organization is using FortiClient and they decided to use it since longer period. The main advantages is we are using it for connect RDP and and access private URL. But main reason is one time configuration is help us to connect it any time from anywhere. It's sending OTP to the work mail and helps us to validate it. While Cisco or other VPN ask mobile OTP auth or authenticator app which is much complex process. Hence FortiClient is best!

Provide highly secured and encrypted data connection over the network. It provide a private connection for access URL withing organization or within team. URL can be exposed based on port number. Many URL can have private domain like .local or .dev like this.
It can be best for access staging URL access to avoid direct public or client exposure.
URL can be accessible for different stages like QA instance, Production Instance, Test Instance.
