There are many uses of Fortinet FortiGate solution.
We are using at first time how Perimeter's Firewall soluction. We knew its technology when migrate Cisco`s ASA to this vendor.
Inmediatly we detected many other uses case such as Wireless solution (FortiAP), Web Application Firewall (FortiWeb) an another more.
Don't forget that Fortinet FortiGate have a concept like an ecosystem; its name is "Fabric".

- Have many solution for resolv diferente requirement. All of them have full internetworking.
- The interfaces to manage its soluction are really easy to learn.
- Bring solution to different type of customer. As small much as Huge.

- Make easier than cisco asa deply vpn service.
- Full integration with all componente tu Forti Analyzer (FAZ).
- Really effective to use SSO from link to Microsoft Active Directory
- The Fortinet FortiGate's project deployment are fast and cheap.
- In the next weeks atther that desploy Fortinet FortiGate, we have been seen complete information about security visibility and incidents stops for these securtiy controls.

Yes - Before that deploy Fortigate's System, we had cisco ASA 55XX systema and Mikrotik ethernet routers.
We had technical limitation because both didn't have utm feactures. And they had different management software. We had two isolate data netwrk without join capacity form management.
When migrate to Fortigate, those problema stopped. When had one unique management layer.

We were many factors to influenced abou our decision.I choise two; the first factor was technical capacity to resolv all our uses case y our company.Finally the partner ecosystem availability in our countrie.
We had much more time used to validate capabilities of different solution than the consume time in Fortigate deploy project.We had a lot of meet with Security Adminisrator an Operator for shared information about tecnical evaluation, uses cases and success story. But the most importan factor that changed its opinion was when talk with another costumer in otrer company near our city. This costumer shared his experience with Forigate.
In my opinion we had been much less time if we use first this contact we our technical staff.
