Overall Satisfaction with Foxit PDF SDK

Foxit PDF SDK is used across our entire takeoff department. We use it along with other programs to view plan files, create pdf files, and make notes. Foxit PDF SDK allows us to view, edit, markup print, and create files to use in house or to send out to our customers. Some of our users absolutely love the software and some choose to use other software because they feel Foxit PDF SDK is limited.

I would say that Bluebeam has many more options and more capabilities versus Foxit PDF SDK. I would also say that Bluebeam is for users more advanced and comfortable with creating, editing, and combining PDF files. For the price comparison, I would say Foxit PDF SDK wins hands down. It is a much cheaper alternative.
I would give it this rating because I personally have never had to contact support regarding Foxit PDF SDK or anything I am trying to do within the program. As I mentioned before, it is very user-friendly and easy to navigate. I think the program in itself lends support to the user because it is so user-friendly and has an easy to use interface.

I prefer another program for a few reasons. One is that I am more familiar with another program, and two is that I feel that the other application has more capabilities for what I am trying to do. However, that is not saying that Foxit PDF SDK is not a powerful and useful tool. Many other engineers and estimators in our department love using Foxit PDF SDK because of its ease of use. It is much more user-friendly, and there are not as many options available, which can be intimidating to some. For those that want full capabilities and customization, I would say another program might be better suited for them. However, if you want a step up from something like adobe, with more options and that is more user-friendly, I would say Foxit PDF SDK is an excellent choice.
