Overall Satisfaction with FullContact
I was working with a client and they wanted a central management solution for their business phones to manage contacts. I started looking into this product to share a central database of company contacts. FullContact provided a solution that could be used on every phone and contacts could easily be updated when there was a change.
- Sharing contacts.
- Easy to edit.
- Nice interface.
- Making contacts read only.
- Price.
- Free for education.
- Positive that the time is not spent updating individual phones.
- Negative in that if someone alters a contact, it will need fixed.
- Positive that users don't waste time calling wrong numbers.
Radicale is a Linux-based contact server that works well with many platforms. It is not the most user-friendly, but if you know your way around creating virtual servers and putting them in the cloud this could be a great free solution for you. The best part is you can have read-only contacts!
