My son is using Gantt tools to plan a one year, around the world trip.
Certain parts of the trip must happen on certain dates (pre-booked reservations) while other parts of the trip are flexible, and just need to occur after the previous task/location is done.
GanttPRO was the only online Gantt tool that was able to handle these types of dependencies between tasks, and provide an overview of estimated dates for each location.

- Timeline can automatically be adjusted when earlier tasks are changed.

- We haven't encountered any yet.

The other tools had trouble automatically adjusting the schedule when an earlier task is changed or had very limited options in defining dependencies between tasks. These were really important features for us to visualize the schedule for a year.
