Overall Satisfaction with Google Charts
Google charts is used by our office primarily to visually display budget and collection percentage information. Our collector keeps a nearly constant record of our collection percentage. Using Google Charts makes it easier to visually display those numbers for the rest of the office, the Commisioners, etc to see without having to read a whole written report.
- Google charts is highly customizable. You can choose your colors, lines, overlays, points, font, and so many other features. There is also the option to insert events and animation into your chart.
- Google Charts is easy to use. You choose your customizable settings, enter your data, and a chart a created for you.
- Charts or graphs made using Google Charts can be embedded into or onto webpages, printed, or shared through email, etc.
- Google Charts is FREE to use!
- Google Charts can be used on nearly any platform or device and is all cloud based.
- There are so many chart types to choose from (pie charts, timelines, bar chart, scatter chart, line chart, geo chart, table chart, and so many more).
- Google Charts has the ability to use data from multiple sources such as Google sheets, Microsoft Excel, and Fusion tables.
- Google Charts does require a network connection for all of it's functions to work properly.
Prior to Google Charts, Microsoft Excel is the program we used for creating charts. Excel had the capability to create a chart and it was fairly easy but Excel did not have the options that Google Charts has. Excel also did not have the capability to import data from several other sources.
