Overall Satisfaction with Google Classroom

I use Google Classroom to grade third grade academic classes and art classes.

Pros

  • Updated Grades for each class
  • Can post live assignments digitally
  • works with many other online curriculum sites

Cons

  • I wish I could copy a class. I have to remake the same class each quarter to have archived official grades for each quarter
  • I wish I could pick settings for how I like to grade and have them set as default for every class instead of having to redo it every time I create a new class
  • 100% of my students can know their current grade at any given moment
  • 100% of grades are confidential
I believe Google Classroom is the best grading and digital learning platform. I have also utilized canvas in the past. I feel like Google Classroom is similar and has more outside websites that are compatible. Love that it’s part of the google universe

Google Classroom is very similar. Had more comparability with other digital learning sites. Links more easily with Epic, discovery education, etc.

We’ll suited for digital learning, and including technology in the classroom. We’ll suited for grading any assignment and including digital resources and activities. Not well suited for parent. Immunization as it is linked to student emails.
