Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Google Cloud Storage to house the various documents that our team needs to collaborate on before they are published. This could be anything from "how to" guides to Excel spreadsheets.

Pros and Cons

Easy collaboration so that everyone can view or have input.
Never had issues with reliability.
The interface is clean and easy to use.

Hard to find items at times. It's very easy to become disorganized.
There are times where pages take a long time to load up.
Often, the formatting in Excel documents gets messed up.

Return on Investment

Having Google Cloud Storage allows us to have multiple offices across the country. We can still collaborate thousands of miles away.
It's a game changer for the distribution of knowledge across teams. Knowledge flies very fast and this has helped us do our best to keep up.
I can't imagine doing my job without it. It would be a lot of extra emails, and more time spent uploading documents.

Guru and Google Cloud Storage are different in many ways. They are by no means the same product, but our team has begun to move away from Google for our documentation of processes. Guru has a superior system for organizing documents and articles.

It's never really let me down. There have been few issues with the program and it has made my life easier in the busy world.

Usability

This product is very easy to use. That might also be its downfall. You get enough people adding files, and soon enough, you've got duplicates, and a whole maze to work through to find the most relevant and updated file.

Google Cloud Storage works well for those who need a collaborative suite of products for their project or business. If you're looking for a more professional product with better organization, you might consider an alternative option.
