Overall Satisfaction with Google Gemini

We use Google Gemini to do research and development in our organization. Instead of using Google Search, we now use AI tools including Google Gemini for researching for our development projects like the recent OpenStack Integration with our DR Runbook for our customer. Google Gemini helped us during by generating code and helping in debugging during implementation of OpenStack CLI as a .Net library.

Google Gemini has a very good interface but it has chat capabilities only. It has strong integration with Google products such as Google Drive, Docs, Spreadsheet and other similar products. However, it lacks similar integration with other ecosystems such as Microsoft 365. It also has very limited integration with Developer IDE tools.
Google Gemini stands tall in this league of AI chat tools. It has a good clean interface and good ability to answer questions quickly on questions related to research and development. However, It lacks integration with IDE tools such as Chat GPT's integration with Microsoft Visual Studio. We chose Gemini because of it's tight integration with Google Workspace.

Google Gemini is best suited for software development tasks like integration with Google products such as Google Workspace and general-purpose code generation. Google Gemini might not be best suited for Microsoft .NET developers. Gemini can generate C# syntax and general .NET code but it lacks deeper understanding of some Microsoft .NET libraries.
