Remote work got easier with GoTo Resolve!
Overall Satisfaction with GoTo Resolve
We primarily use Go to for remote support. My IT team relies on it to troubleshoot technical issues. It's kind of a lifesaver when hardware malfunctions or software glitches disrupt the workflow. My team works remotely from different locations, and the tool is able to bridge the physical distance gap.
Pros
- Real time screen sharing - it's like right there being with the user.
- File transfers are very quick and seamless.
- Remote control, of course is the best feature.
Cons
- I guess, Video quality could be one. Although screen sharing is clear, it could be better.
- Mobile app, which is sometimes used could have a better UI/UX.
- Needless to say, increased productivity by solving IT issues swiftly.
- Cost savings - It eliminates the need for on-site IT support (a blessing for my Team, which is placed virtually).
It has significantly streamlined IT support. As mentioned, it has improved issue resolution. By having a comprehensive overview of devices and their status, my IT team is able to diagnose problems faster. It has led to major cost savings in terms of licensing and management overhead costs involved in the team.
