Overall Satisfaction with Grammarly

I constantly need to write professionally, grammatically correct and convincing for my business management. Grammarly helps me accomplish all 3 of those requirements as I create blog posts, create emails for outreach or client management, compose proposals for clients, or complete the documentation of our processes. I don't know of another tool that does what Grammarly accomplishes.
  • Tone: The tool tells you the tone you are reflecting in your writing.
  • Grammarly: It's easy to find a tool that gives you spelling feedback, but the grammatical feedback that Grammarly provides is very effective and unique.
  • Education: Grammarly gives you immediate solutions and recommendations, but it also provides you education on how to write better in the future.
  • Limitations of apps: Grammarly is working on this, but right now you can only utilize it in certain applications. Being able to have Grammarly integrate into all tools would be very helpful.
  • Past tense: This is very specific, but I get a lot of feedback that I need to stop using "past tense" in my writing. I suspect I'm not alone. However, it doesn't provide clear solutions on how to correct my problem of using "past tense" as it does on other grammatical problems and corrections.
  • Price: It's a great tool, with a lot of value. However, I do feel like it's a bit expensive.
  • Integrations: I'll always crave more integrations, but Grammarly does a great job of integrating on Gmail, LinkedIn, Slack, and social media
  • Tone: I don't know of any other tools that can give you feedback on your tone. This is very helpful as I am writing to different audiences. The tone should be personalized and appropriate for the audience, so it's great to have a feedback tool to help keep writing on the proper tone
  • Skill: I feel like I'm an adequate/good writer, but Grammarly levels me up. I'm a better writer when I use Grammarly's spelling and grammar tools.
  • Professionalism: I am a more professional writer when I use the tool.
  • Outreach: Grammarly helps me ensure I am using the right tone, proper grammar, and correct spelling every time I write something for my business.
  • Priceless: It's hard to put a price on writing style, but making the right first impression (and ongoing perception) is priceless in my book.
  • Google Workspace (formerly G Suite)
The closest competitor or comparison I can find to Grammarly is Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, etc.) with its built-in grammar and spelling tools. I don't think the built-in tools of Workspace compare to Grammarly. Google Workspace does not provide in-depth insights, tone feedback, or cross-application usage to name a few of the differences.

Grammarly is very well suited as a tool for using a lot of writing in business or education. My kids are even using Grammarly for their school work. Honestly, unless you are not using any writing in your use case, I think Grammarly makes a lot of sense. I initially started with the free tool and was so pleased; I decided to pay for the tool. I have not regretted paying for Grammarly and use it every single day.
