Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Greenhouse as our primary ATS. It helps us collect and organize all data regarding candidates and helps us drive our recruiting strategies and efforts towards our hiring goals.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Organizing candidate and job information.
Analyzing basic data/reporting.
Work collaboratively with other stakeholders and other recruiters on a role.

Cons

Integration with workday - the data gets very messy and there are usually issues when we try to integrate data to and from GH and workday.
Advanced reporting/analytics.
Auditing stale candidates.

Return on Investment

Increased time to hire - ability to organize and streamline.
Tracking sources of applicants to determine where to invest.

Usability

Very intuitive for recruiters, but not intuitive for others outside of the recruiting team. It takes some time to learn all the features and how to access everything.

Greenhouse is great if you want to tailor your roles and add various stages. It's great for both small and large organizations to streamline the recruiting process. The platform may not be intuitive for hiring managers or other people who are not using it on a daily basis.
