Overall Satisfaction with Greenhouse
We use Greenhouse as our Applicant Tracking System for all Full-Time roles. Prior to using Greenhouse our old applicant tracking system was clunky, didn't allow for CRM functionality, and didn't allow us to fully capture the information we wanted or customize it in the way we were hoping. We can now stay in touch with candidates, and house interview questions in the system.
- Scheduling interviews
- Customer service
- Connecting rubrics to scorecards
- Easily customizing the collection of demographic data
- More examples of how other organizations have set up the system
- Greenhouse has reduced our time to hire
- Candidates really appreciate the ability to record their name
- The user interface has made onboarding new staff into the program easier
Because Greenhouse allows me to add custom questions, I am able to identify the racial and ethnic diversity of our applicants. I also appreciate their focus on leading structured hiring practices in order to reduce bias.
Personally, I think it is very user-friendly. I've used a few ATSs and I think Greenhouse strikes a good balance of having enough functionality and the ability to customize without making it too overwhelming for the regular user. I like that the dashboard keeps everything organized and the calendar integrations ensure I don't miss anything.
The Cornerstone was MUCH less user-friendly, the interface was not intuitive and it didn't allow for as much collaboration as Greenhouse. I really appreciate being able to keep a running tab of the conversations with candidates in Greenhouse and keep all the communication in one spot. It's more visually pleasing as well.
