Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We have used Greenhouse extensively in our organisation for Recruitment related activities. I being the Head of Engineering there worked with HR team to write Job postings in the application, review candidature profiles, set up interviews, give feedback for the candidate for the same. Also a use case is where we have used Greenhouse to track referral activity, anyone referred by internal employees for the role is easily tracked and the person who referred would have good visibility on the status

Pros

  • Greenhouse super simple when it comes to feedback on interviews, I had my new Engineers take interviews and they were able to easily understand and use the system to write feedback
  • As a person who refers to multiple people, I can see the status of each role and person I have referred to.
  • Greenhouse is the most simple ATS out there in the market, its ease of use helped us onboard new members in our hiring team and scale them

Cons

  • Intergration with external tools like codility, etc can be done
  • Their support is late to respond in case of issues, they can improve their support service and reduce turnaround time
  • They can start supporting video interviews

  • Faster interview scheduling process
  • Scaling up when it comes to multiple recruitment profiles
  • Closing recruitment for Internships a lot faster by screening 1000+ candidates easily

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Greenhouse to manage and track our recruiting process as well as tracking our job posting. This is helping to keep our candidates organized as well as the interview process streamlined for a better candidate experience. We also can track any employee referrals which is very helpful.

Pros

  • Tracking the progress of a candidate
  • Integrates well with our existing other vendors
  • has good privacy settings for managers

Cons

  • Not a fan of the privacy settings on when you've moved on from a candidate, it hides resumes that even admins can't see which isn't helpful

Return on Investment

  • It's very expensive, so unless you're actively and massively recruiting, you won't need this
  • It great when we're massively hiring, employees are able to easily see job postings
  • It's very intuitive and helps with our HR processes with the integrations

We currently us Greenhouse for managing recruitment processes. Greenhouse makes it incredibly easy to gather interview feedback through easily customisable score-cards. The centralised candidate information works brilliantly and I love how easily I can onboard my new team members on Greenhouse.

  • Centralised candidate information for all recruitment processes.
  • Customisable score cards for the panel members.
  • Automated nudges to the panel members to put in their feedback after the session.
  • Easily trackable referral processes.

Cons

  • AI guidance on framing the feedback, at time not everyone is a native english speaker, some help with words / phrases can really make the product shine.

  • Thanks to Greenhouse, we can keep the feedback collection time after the interview process under 24 hours.
  • Fast closing of positions.

Using Green house to schedule and source candidates from Different Job Boards. Collecting feedback of Interviews and Keeping candidates informed about their feedback is easy and can Green house is making it better day to day.

We are managing whole Recruitment life cycle of an employee through Greenhouse.

Assigning Hiring Managers and recruiters is very easy for any Job. Internal Referrals and Job postings are also been published in Greenhouse.

Pros

  • Scheduling and rescheduling of Interviews - Integration with G Meet, Zoom and few other platforms are great
  • Integration with career Page - Integration of ATS Greenhouse with career page is easy and response from different job boards is quite good
  • Providing feedback to employees - Feedback of the Interview can be given to employees on a click of a button

Cons

  • There should be an option where we can upload our own format of offer letter and it can be shared through Greenhouse. Sorry if I missed exploring this option in detail
  • Customer support team should be available when required on a short notice
  • Dashboard can be modified to give few more Insights

Greenhouse is our end to end applicant tracking system. I support our Talent Acquisition team as their HR Business Partner and use Greenhouse for a variety of compliance, hiring, and other use cases. Greenhouse helps us hire and onboard employees and allows the HR/compliance team to manage employee hiring records effectively.
