Overall Satisfaction with Heyflow
We use Heyflow to make landing pages for our marketing and affiliate campaigns. It empowers our marketing team to manage their own landing pages without a need for engineering help. It also helps us get the user to the correct place based on how they answer the heyflow questions. for example we can match with customer service or sales.
Pros
- anyone can do it, reduces cost/need for engineering team help
- fast to get started, there isn't a lot to implement
- designing and setting up the flow is easy
- allows both out of the box or fully custom options, which makes it compatible with any project
Cons
- The domains are really annoying. I would like to have multiple global domains with the ability to select which ones are available flow each flow.
- Some of the features in my plan weren't in the app and I had to explicitly ask for them - I found that odd and it made things take longer (There were 2 issues, I think one was related to I have 3 domains available but it would only let me add one)
- I would also like to setup the global domains at the account level, and have the option of adding scripts to the domain level. For example, I always want the gtm container added to each domain.. I don't want someone on my team to forget to add it.
- The way the url naming works on Heyflow is terrible. I don't want to add a bunch of nonsense characters to the end of my url, I want it to be human readable. I also don't need heyflow to have a version of my url on their domain, it would be nice to select which domain(s) I'm using at the beginning of creating a new flow.

When making complicated heyflows that brand off in various ways, the drop off analytics aren't as helpful because they don't account for people who skipped steps based on their selection.
Having the functionality to skip steps based on a users selection allows us to create more tailored experiences and help people get the products they need.
