Overall Satisfaction with Planful (formerly Host Analytics)
We use it for our budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting process. I allows us to grant access to reporting and budget detail to managers and executives across the company. It also allows us to perform ad-hoc forecasts and financial models in an efficient way. The cloud scheduler allows me to send out recurring reports in an automated fashion.
- Excel-like features make picking up the application rather easy.
- Report design utilizing substitution variables makes recurring reports able to be automated.
- Hierarchy management makes understanding the structure of our complex company much easier.
- Compatibility with default browser settings is an issue.
- Would like more formatting options for reports that delivered via cloud scheduler.
- Chrome compatibility would be great!
- Increased manager engagement in the budget process
- Better efficiency at delivering ad-hoc analysis
- Flexibility to changes in planning or organization
