We utilize Human Interest to offer 401k options to our employees

Pros and Cons

Pros

They compile and submit all reports
They integrate with Kronos software
they take care of all submissions of deductions
their app is very easy to use

Cons

Our account manager has changed multiple times.
The compliance report was incorrect

Return on Investment

So far I do not see a change in retention due to HI
It added costs to our admin fees
Employees like to see we are invested in their retirement

Now that I have a great account manager its been much improved. She has helped clear up a lot of issues that I had from start up, payroll integration to compliance reports being incorrect. She is the only one who corrected it all. I would have a much lessor opinion of HI without her.

Usability

Their app and website are very user friendly. Our employees usually have a lot of issues with technology but this app made it very easy to use and to understand.

Alternatives Considered

I looked into a couple others but they did not offer the payroll integration and i was responsible for the compliance reports. I already have enough to do so I did not want to add more to what i was reponsible for .
