Overall Satisfaction with Human Interest

Human Interest was a partner company and helped our clients set up their 401k.

Pros

  • The ease of setup for the plan, the ease of administration for the plan, and the ease of the end user for the plan

Cons

  • Probably the integration. The integration with smaller payroll providers like Gusto.
  • Very low cost, great promotions for clients that are starting out and it really helps to make an employer competitive in the marketplace. So definitely great ROI.
So we had a designated rep and he was fantastic. I don't remember his name at the moment, but he was almost immediately responsive. And you guys also partnered with us for client knowledge webinars and he was great. Great at that too.
Completely transparent
I would say an eight or nine for usability, and I would give it a 10 except for some of the integration.
I can't remember the other vendor. I've used lots of big 401k providers, so John Hancock, Transamerica, Empower. I would say this is pretty well stacked, but again, for some reason, I'm not sure why people, larger organizations have this.

Well suited for smaller organizations that haven't set up a 401k plan, especially that are located in those locations where it's required now. So the laws continue to change at the state level. And probably the question related to less suited for whatever reason, and I'm not sure what it was, larger companies seemed to shy away from it and they would go with the more well-known record keepers.
