Overall Satisfaction with IBM Apptio

We use this to help organize the spend for our IT group in categories into application or non application, we also use this to pull data for executives who need to see the breakdown of items. We an track the Total Cost of applications because of the ability to add multiple data sets.

We use objects and multiple loads to incorporate it all in one overall summary, we are able to specify for certain executives, we can create specific reports that we need to show others in more detail or less, it is nice how easy the filters are and the ability to connect several data sets/objects.
I have worked with two since starting at HCA, and both are very knowledgeable and helpful. Love how involved Punya Nair is with our needs, if we had issues with reports, they either helped or connected us to people who can help us, and currently have been working with higher ups to help us with our business cases.

Do not use others
I would say IBM Apptio has a more complex background for all the data and can show the visuals well, other issue is that it is not as easy to show to a broad audience.

We are able to connect to multiple data sets that are not in the same sections, we can add several objects to drill through into other sections that are not just application driven, it has the ability to let us upload monthly and push the data through fast, we can get very detailed items if needed.

Using IBM Apptio

10 - We pull the data for executives to review twice a year
3 - We have a manager overall, then we have someone to load half the data, and another to load the other half and do tickets and maintenance.
