Overall Satisfaction with IBM Cloud Object Storage

[IBM Cloud Object Storage] is utilized in our
IT department, most specifically. I have found it [to be] a convenient and
advanced tool for data storage as well as for the management of the data
lifecycle. It is a solution that is great for data recovery, storage,
cost-effectiveness, and time saver. A scalable tool that has the propensity to
store massive files of petabyte data.

Pros

  • IBM [Cloud Object Storage] is great for the data [storage]. Even [with] bulky files and we can [still] get access to those data files without facing any complex or perplexing situations.
  • It is a scalable tool, and has made it easy for us to scale our data as the volume of our files increases.
  • It is a highly protective and secure platform, and our company’s secrecy is maintained with it.
  • It provides details of the usage.

Cons

  • I am not content with its collaboration feature.
  • Sharing data is not easy, and should be improved.
  • The condition to get access to IBM cloud storage by only utilizing an IBM Cloud account is a bit unsatisfying for us.
  • We can get access to our company’s data from almost anywhere.
  • Our data is secure, protected, and easily accessible.
  • It is not [as] effective [with] sharing features , [which] has some negative impact on our business.
  • No other negative return on investment on our business except for sharing feature.

individual users, but [for] organization[s], it is just perfect for data [storage]. For company data, one needs for a secure, reliable
tool that would protect important files. It is cost-effective, so a
company can easily afford it. As far as IBM is concerned, [they have] always
been a name of trust for us.
