Overall Satisfaction with IBM Planning Analytics
Currently, IBM Planning Analytics is still in its infancy stages within the organization. It is not heavily used due to a lack of knowledge and training. Planning Analytics is used for basic reporting right now. Training is the biggest problem we are addressing right now. Skillsets that have the analytic mindset need to be hired to support Analytics more efficiently.

Our organization has been able to utilize scenario planning to start looking at different paths or directions that we can take and what the projected outcomes would be based on the data collected and organized into the scenarios. It has also [been] beneficial [in] determining campaigns and marketing strategies. This has been a great tool so far.
IBM Planning Analytics was by far the most robust tool we evaluated among several top competitors. It stood out for its place in the industry to provide detailed, integrated, and aggregate integration for data governance. I was impressed with the approach from the sales team to listen to my requirements and demo how analytics could improve what I was doing and how it would fulfill my requirements.
