Overall Satisfaction with IBM Power

Power system S922 is used to manage business applications to distribute pharmaceutical products. This powerful machine operates in a multi-cloud environment designed to handle several partitions with different functionalities such as reception of orders, order processing, and order dispatch. The P9 processor is much faster than the previous versions and it is significantly more flexible to configure.

We have been using a variety of processors for different business applications. However, for our mission-critical processes, we use IBM Power System S922. It provides high performance, stability, and the security that we need. IBM Power Systems allows processing administrative tasks while the system is handling high workloads.

It is a good processor for medium-size companies with mission-critical processes spread over several years that require high performance, reliability, and data security in multi-cloud environments. It works well with virtualization workloads and as a cluster. It supports Oracle, SAP, and SQL. It is not recommended for small companies.
