Overall Satisfaction with IBM Power System Virtual Server
To use our backup software on P-series and also to use IBM I clients backing up to it.
- Rapidly build P-series servers.
- User interface slowness when loading/reloading page
- Better information and diagnostics regarding errors/failures
- For example, I tried to build an IBM I on Washington location and it does return an error and also does not create the instance.
- Another issue is that I have assigned a public IP address after the server was built, but it did not work. I had to kill the server and recreate it with a public IP from start.

- We are still testing it so cannot tell.
- Have not used it long enough.
The only option I know of is to run IBM I servers.
I have not used it for long, but once it´s up and running I have not had any issues.
That has not changed really, it has not helped nor made it worse.
