Overall Satisfaction with IBM Power Systems Virtual Server
Since our organization has a very flexible infrastructure with lots of systems going online and offline at different times and different dedicated resources at different times, IBM Power Systems lets us swap and spin up Virtual Servers with high flexibility with the lowest cost that we can find. With IBM Power Systems, you will have full flexibility in your resources, servers, IPs, etc. One business problem it addresses is centralization. Although centralization is sometimes good, if an outage occurs, then all of our systems go down with no backups.
- Flexibility
- Cost
- Speed
- Bad customer support
- Centralization
- Backups/downtime policies
- Cheaper in the long run.
- Extremely flexible: Change anytime without paying extra fees.
- Quick and easy setup: Save time and money from the time saved.
IBM Cloud Virtual Servers is also very similar to IBM Power Systems Virtual Server. However, IBM Power Systems Virtual Server is a lot more flexible and offers a lot more variety to chose from. IBM Cloud Virtual Servers is made for more permanent and longer workloads whereas IBM PowerSystems Virtual Server is made for temporary and quick workloads. IBM Power Systems Virtual Server is also generally cheaper than IBM Cloud Virtual Servers but is made for temporary use.
