IBM Storage FlashSystem High-Performance Storage for Modern Workloads

We use IBM Storage FlashSystem arrays for our production, development, and QA SAP environments. The flash arrays deliver great performance with low latency. This allows for the smooth running of I/O intensive databases. We manage around 200TB of block data between our multiple locations spread across US, UK & Europe. The deduplication feature improves storage efficiency and reduces space requirements. Furthermore, replication technologies make database refreshes easier, reducing the requirement for the time-consuming RMAN procedure. With these capabilities, we can sustain peak performance, streamline operations, and improve data management without disruption, resulting in an efficient and highly dependable storage infrastructure for demanding applications.

The inbuilt replication and snapshot features is most valuable for us as it allows us to migrate upgrade servers easily and it has reduced our databased refresh window from days to within an hour which is crucial as it allows for smaller downtime windows. Along with that integration with SSO allows for increased security with login reducing the risks for malicious activities. Call home feature allows for support to be notified for any issues without us having to reach out, reducing the turnaround time to resolve the issue

Integration with SSO, has been a lifesaver. This has allowed us to use the MFA to add that extra layer of security to access the storage array which is not present on majority of other block platform and we have been struggling to improve security on those platforms.
