Overall Satisfaction with IBM Storage FlashSystem

I think Flashsystem has excellent usability. It is compatible with almost every platform we have at our enterprise. It is compatible with Power HA and VMware SRM. It has very well-suited interfaces, and spectrum virtualization is very easy to use. GUI and CLI are very well done.
IBM I workloads, high intensive x 86 workloads, flash copy, and Disaster recovery.

We primarily have IBM I workloads. Our banking core is hosted in an IBM flash system, and our response times are faster than we expected. We have a metro mirror for disaster recovery, and replication has really great performance. It is always consistent and synchronized. The data reduction pool has almost no impact on IBM I performance.
IBM Flash systems spectrum virtualize stands up against the software. Its data reduction algorithms are more efficient and reliable than hoped. Also, its replication capabilities are easier to manage, configure, and understand from an administrator's point of view. Also, IBM's storage insights are way better than its competitors regarding alerts and performance insights.

IBM systems provide disaster recovery features such as replication. They are well suited to host IBM I workloads, are highly intensive in i/o, have excellent performance, and provide storage virtualization to use more storage systems in parallel. They could also present storage to VMware workloads. They have excellent compression and data reduction ratios, and their GUI is easy to manage.
