Overall Satisfaction with IBM watsonx Orchestrate
We use IBM watsonx Orchestrate to streamline the IT Support desk delivery process. We automate many routine tasks and leverage custom tools and agents to perform critical tasks quickly and efficiently. In all cases, these were tasks that just weren't getting done, or definitely were not getting done well. The agentic workflows we are able to build and customize free up critical resources to work on more important and much more impactful issues.
Pros
- Low code agents that any analyst or business user in my organization can create or customize
- Serves as a one-stop shop to allow people to find answers, or perform tasks that were previously difficult and time-consuming
- Brings together tools and data in one place so everybody knows where to go for anything they need.
Cons
- There is a limited ability to customize the user interface without serious coding
- More flexible integration with other agentic frameworks
- Documentation and training could be better and more readily available.
- Able to allocate technical resources to other important projects
- Using the tools we built, anyone can get access to data and answers they couldn't before.
- The extensibility means we can replace a few different agentic frameworks we were leveraging with just one.
The ability to bring in all my enterprise data, centrally locate it and take it available to everyone in the organization. Then leveraging the underlying technology (LLMs, vector data stores), we can gain insights that were never available previously. Additionally being able to extract structured data from unstructured opens up a whole new world of data opportunities.
