Use Cases and Deployment Scope
Data is very important, especially when a company has thousands and thousands of containers ingesting or outgassing from terminals, yards, warehouses, etc. The information is a lot if we need to have a reliable source that we can trust. IBM Watson Assistant is that trustworthy that we're using. We have implemented new methods to manage the information, especially with its IA, which allows us to move forward with other tasks, making sure and keeping in mind that the tool will help us to complete the jobs easily and even automatically in some cases.

  • A virtual assistant that could provide real-time updates.
  • Can answer inquiries, and serve as a centralized communication hub.
  • The virtual assistant was trained to recognize construction terminology, project timelines, and the intricacies of resource allocation.
  • Offering more industry-specific customization options could improve the relevance and effectiveness of virtual assistants across diverse business sectors.
  • Even though it interacts excellently with other services, there are some connection failures, but it's something that for sure will improve.
  • The reasoning part is something that needs to be improved for sure. I mean, it is something that is starting, but it certainly needs to improve to give better results.

It integrates great with other tools or services that we use, of course, especially with those that come from IBM that work perfectly fine together. Since it understands all the data we give to it, we can organize the information easily without too much hassle. Something really unique could be the implementation. Especially with people not oriented to IA services, there should be an easier way to implement services like this one with people not used to this type of technology.

I mean, Einstein is fine and is going in the right direction, but it's a bit limited for now. In the future, it will be fine. IBM Watson Assistant is more reliable, more intuitive, more natural, and pretty much has what you need. IBM Watson Assistant is simpler, and the IBM support team is very Professional.

First and the foremost thing is that it supports multiple languages which is key part of our business since we work overseas that was the first thing I had in my mind which IK started- off with it. Also that it is having advanced features like entity recognition and sentiment analysis to check how the user is prompting and that adds to the customer experience I don 't have to spend much time on it manually to solve FAQ's and queries, the bot is doing much itself. It has reduced the workforce by 1 practically and is saving bucks against the manual queries we were handling before.

May be I cannot say why I choose, business preferred to use IBM watsonx.data which is good for me as well to learn. I cannot compare this tool with others because it has unique feature which Alteryx or Amazon or Azure dont have. So this tool is going good for us.
