Overall Satisfaction with Infosec IQ
Infosec IQ was purchased to be used as the phishing and security awareness training platform for the entire enterprise. The platform is designed as a comprehensive phishing and security awareness tool. While it generally works well there are issues with things such as reporting, whitelisting, and the report tool that need work. We routinely ran into issues with downtime causing report button issues or streaming issues for on demand content.
- Phish reporting tool gives easy management and useful reports
- Training catalog is small but high quality
- AD integration is easy
- User interface is cumbersome especially with reporting
- Training catalog is small
- There is a learning curve to understanding how to build a phishing campaign
- Reporting is very limited compared to other products
- Due to several issues with the reporting tools we have not been allowed to use the product very often.
- Several issues with whitelisting in email security tools. Many times we found "undocumented" white list recommendations working with support that caused us issues.
- The report tool only works with newer versions of .net. this meant several departments with legacy applications were unable to use it.
- Proofpoint Security Awareness Training (formerly Wombat Security), KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training and Cofense PhishMe
i preferred [Infosec IQ] to Cofense but it was far behind Proofpoint and KnowBe4 in terms of ease of use and detailed user reporting. I would rate it to be a solid platform and Proofpoint competitor but not in the same league as KnowBe4. The training platform and catalog is respectable in scope and quality.
