- Dashboard easily navigated and training is easily implemented quickly and effectively
Infosec [IQ] is far different from SANS because we’ve been able to implement more interactive and fun training that is constantly changing to keep up with security awareness best practices. SANS provided us the same content over and over again which became boring and repetitive to our users making them less likely to complete training in a timely fashion. We believe Infosec [IQ] will change that in our future by providing more interesting forms of training in the form of videos, fliers, games, etc.

Using Infosec IQ
250 - IT, HR, finance, marketing, client success managers, contractors and third party associates all use our security awareness training to stay up to date on the latest security threats and attacks and how to handle them. We’ve also implemented phishing testing to determine areas of weakened and things that we could improve upon within our company.
3 - We utilize 2 IT administrators to handle daily support and implementation of training. Our IT director is involved periodically to go over new training programs and decide what is the best content to provide for our employees as well as our outside clients and contractors. Our users login for training and education every quarter and we have ongoing phishing testing.
- Phishing simulations
- Training and education
- Reporting and tracking of user activity and areas of weakness
- Phishing simulation
- Content variety in the form of games, humorous videos and interactive training packets
- Building company specific training and being able to provide training based on roles and departments
- Building our own training videos and platforms
- Role specific training and development
Evaluating Infosec IQ and Competitors
Yes - We replaced our SANS training dashboard with Infosec IQ because we had a hard time utilizing their dashboard - it seemed very outdated and reporting was hard to track progress of users and training completion. The content available in SANS seemed to never change or be updated in a way to keep up with the changing world of security awareness and threats.
- Price
- Product Features
- Product Usability
Product features were the most important to us deciding to purchase Infosec IQ. We needed a platform that had regularly updated content and ways for us to also implement phishing simulations to stay compliant with ISO requirements and provide a better training experience for our users. We’ve been able to educate our users on better clues to look for when being faced with phishing attacks and how to handle those.
We evaluated a few others security awareness training platforms but nothing stacked up against Infosec IQ in the way that it was the right price for our company with the most features available to us. We’re very happy with our decision to move forward with our purchase and would not change that.
