Overall Satisfaction with Infosec Skills

We are a data analytics company for enterprises that use Microsoft 365 and other cloud apps. We use Infosec Skills for CISSP certification and for education around cybersecurity, one of the pillars of our product. It lends credibility and expertise to our sales and deployment processes. We also have to respond to numerous cloud security questionnaires and RFPs.
  • A combination of presentation, explanation, and reading materials to suit all learning types.
  • An easy-to-use portal that tracks progress and allows you to go back and review.
  • A focus on both the certification itself as well as the background information. In contrast to just "practice tests."
  • I'd like to stay current on the topic once I've finished the courseware, and links to recommended publications would be welcome.
  • Frankly, the status of billing is complicated. They offer some trials, some free materials, and some paid materials. I am concerned about what my bill date and amount will be.
  • I expect to earn an industry-recognized top-level certification.
  • I expect additional job opportunities to be available outside my organization.
  • I expect additional visibility from sites such as LinkedIN.
I've used Microsoft-specific training, but not an industry training class before.
Yes, in both pre-sales roles and post-sales delivery. For example, we help customers deploy the Center for Internet Security (CIS) controls for M365. The audience for that is generally a customer's IT security department. Being able to "speak their language" has been valuable both before and after the sale.
The labs move the training content from more theoretical to more practical. For some reason, Security professionals are skeptical, and credentials and hands-on experience are valued. You can use the labs to estimate level-of-effort, from customer and platform implementation and project management standpoints.
The progression through the courseware is very intuitive. The addition of assessments and labs has also been easy to navigate. The self-assessments are thorough and good. I only took a point off for finding and using additional material, and progression into the test itself. If you do need help, a chatbot would be useful as well.
The courseware is really excellent, and I like being able to speed up the pace of the videos. For the particular course I am taking, CISSP certification, it would be good to acknowledge a different focus between commercial and government usage. CISSP is broad and not always deep—it is likely most suited for directors or C-level individuals.
