Overall Satisfaction with Inno

Innovare Media is what we know this company as. They have the high honor of being the absolute worst waste of money we have gotten involved with in our 21+ years in business. They are dishonest, inept, shady and something no small business should ever get involved with. Initially set up was rough as they placed our "public facing" ad in the employee cafeteria and our ad intended for healthcare workers in the ER waiting room; mistakes happen, we worked with them to sort it out and get it right when we visited to see our own add (they never owned up to it being backwards but I went in person to see them about 6 months into the advertising). Next the problem was they inexplicably changed our automated drafts from $350 per month to $395 so we reached out and learned that they had been charging us incorrectly and attached a hand-scribbled "contract" with our signatures which we both distinctly remember saying that price was out of our budget and they negotiated it down to $350 so we didn't walk away from negotiations...but that doesn't matter when you can hand write at will.By the 1.5 year. point, in early 2020, we had already realized that there was zero ROI. We inquired about buying out of our contract early. We were told the penalty to end this 60 month agreement was $8097.50, the full price of continuing under contract. Then COVID struck. We were locked into an ironclad contract with them when hospitals were literally closed to the public...so running advertisements in the emergency room and cafeteria had NO benefit whatsoever. Public facing, they claimed they "were working with customers to find a solution that worked for all involved" which the rest of us faced losing our small businesses as they continued to rake in the dough. We reached out to see what those solutions they were offering actually were. They were a figment of their imagination and no concessions...not a single one...was made. Payments were still expected as businesses were closed. They posted online that they would be happy to "work with us" but, despite them knowing how to reach us when they wanted to sell us more useless stuff, they didn't know how to reach us when we needed real solutions? Their only concern was to appear compassionate to the public, the individual customer be damned. When I finally reached someone by phone because emails were ignored, their response was that they had to "carefully weigh assisting their customers with creating ongoing value for their own business model". They weighed that by collecting and making no changes or concessions to those of us struggling too survive and paying for a useless product in locations that weren't even accessible! I will scream from the rooftops how absolutely awful this company is. Now that we have survived that horrible period of time, we look forward to watching them wither and die now that those ironclad contracts can no longer be enforced. By the way, ironclad contracts aren't necessary when you have a product that works and is in demand. We never got a SINGLE lead from a huge spend covering a five year period, about 1.5 years of it prior to COVID shutdowns and the rest after. We spent over $23k on something that netted us $0. Poetic justice is that they are stupid enough to use our advertising mockups as one of the example campaigns when selling to new customers and I've had a few reach out to ask if we were happy with our relationship with Innovare Media...and boy do they get an earful! I only hope I have cost them more than they ever made off of us! Run far and fast from this company, trust me.

Pros

  • switch up contracts

Cons

  • unscrupulous contract record keeping/amending documents
  • ironclad contracts that allow no buyout for things like COVID
  • billing practices where THEY got new software and could no longer autodraft but explained it like we didn't pay on time
  • zero ROI...ZERO!
  • huge expense of over $23k for NOTHING
You can't use a kiosk within a hospital that is shut down for COVID; furthermore they put the wrong ad in the wrong place (reversed two of our ads)...the public facing ad was put in the employee break room and the one intended for healthcare providers was put in the ER waiting area. We only discovered this months later when we personally visited the hospital. They did reverse them but no concession was made for their mistake.

Do you think Inno delivers good value for the price?

No

Are you happy with Inno's feature set?

No

Did Inno live up to sales and marketing promises?

No

Did implementation of Inno go as expected?

No

Would you buy Inno again?

No

I can think of no business or scenario that would benefit from any relationship with this company. They are horrible from the initial sale, to the installation, to the billing, to the customer service, to lies posted in response to unfavorable reviews of their company. Literally the worst company I have had the displeasure of dealing with in over 21 years in business.
