Overall Satisfaction with InterSystems IRIS
I use InterSystems IRIS to help multiple entities communicate with each other. To exchange data and manage training registrations.All these exchanges concern standards used in all areas (ISO, etc...)Exchanges are done by files (sftp...) but above all by REST API.We use InterSystems IRIS because DB storage is really simple. We have the ability to simply transport a message from one point to another or to transform it before distributing it.

- Transfer and transform messages, flows
- Graphic part for BP
- Python development
- Development but Python is natve in the new version
- Visual Code extension to help developer (linter, formatter...)
- ORM fonctionnalities
- Ensemble to IRIS changes licenses is expensives, not just an upgrade
- Ease of maintaining and evolving flows
- Easy to learn for new users
