Overall Satisfaction with ion interactive

We use Ion across the organization and for clients as an engagement tool (lead generation and nurturing), educational tool, and survey tool. We are able to address the challenges of delivery the right content to the right person in a fun and engaging way. Interactive content is the way to go!
  • SUPPORT! Ion's support is phenomenal!
  • The training modules in Ion U are very informative without being overwhelming.
  • Ion provides the possibility for level of reporting which is very granular.
  • The concepts (tagging, containers) are a bit confusing and not necessarily intuitive. Training and support make using the tool much easier!
  • The reporting modules could use a bit of tweaking. I would love to see most common path to conversion.
  • Smaller exit rates.
  • Longer engagement (time on page).
  • Return visitors to the creative.
SnapApp is our other interactive content tool. Ion is more difficult to use out of the box because it is more robust. It offers more flexibility and better design options. The integrations with CRM tools, although has more steps, is a bit more well-done. Support is absolutely the best, hands down.
Ion is well suited for an organization with a marketing operations team. The tool is great and will take any marketing department to the next level but it does require someone who knows how to use the tool. Creating the creative and then making sure it is tagged appropriately for reporting are very important.
