Overall Satisfaction with ion interactive, by ScribbleLive

ion interactive is being used by a few individuals to create interactive graphics to accompany website articles.

Pros

  • Creates HTML without having to know coding
  • Animations that add interest to the static page

Cons

  • A bit confusing when laying out the page. It's sometimes hard to see where you are in the layout.
  • The interface could be improved by allowing the movement of elements in the list view, instead of just in the edit view.
I used the chat feature a few times and the help provided was excellent. One of the times I was having trouble getting elements to line up correctly, and they were able to take my project, duplicate it, and show how it should have been done to create the effect I was looking for.
I wasn't involved with that process.
ion is good for smaller projects where interactivity is desired to help drive viewers to content. It's more of a marketing tool aimed at consumers, than something that our audience of medical professionals might want to view (unless the interactivity is kept to a minimum).
