Overall Satisfaction with iSpring Suite
My organization is using iSpring to make training materials available to over 300,000 Michigan Community College practitioners. Our trainings include embedded resources that participants can access to support them in their efforts of being student success advocates for students across the state. These training sessions are also provided at no cost to our users. iSpring also allows us to have embedded closed captions along with outlining the lesson topics, making our training accessible, easy to navigate, and able to curate a learning experience that best meets their learning needs. Prior to iSpring, we were unable to locate a user friendly platform that would allow for multiple organizational users to curate user friendly and engaging lessons. With iSpring, we have been able to successfully build a micro-training platform that we can continuously use and add to over time-providing the best training for our members.
Pros
- Interactive lesson templates.
- Closed captions.
- Embedded resources (ie. videos, website links, etc.).
- Customer service is 10/10!
Cons
- More facial expressions of the characters.
- Update independent of my prompting/box checking.
- Add details on what the customized play includes when the mouse hovers over the icon. It took a bit of time to realize that this was where we could select different layouts.
- The Central Michigan Public Relations Society of America (CMPRSA) is one of the 100 chapters of the Public Relations Society of America, the world’s largest organization for public relations professionals. In 2024, our organization won one of the PACE Awards from this organization. This distinguishment increased our engagement on social media, leading to additional website users.
- We have received multiple inquiries about what platform we use to offer training to higher education practitioners.
- In Michigan, we have 31 community and tribal colleges. With the help of iSpring, we have made information on how to support the holistic needs of community college students available, accessible, and free of charge to higher education practitioners.
