Overall Satisfaction with iSpring Suite

I create SCORM (Sharable Content Object Reference Model) courses for various company departments. We have a lot of folks who are happy to create the skeleton of a training course in Powerpoint, but don't need or want to know how to turn their powerpoint into something that can be added to our learning management system. iSpring Suite makes that step quick and easy.

Pros

  • Convert powerpoint to SCORM
  • add quizzes to courses

Cons

  • I don't use the rest of the iSpring Suite (beyond PPT to SCORM) so don't know how well the rest of the product works.
  • We save a ton of money creating our own SCORM courses versus hiring an agency to do this, and we get a product that better fits our learners.
Very easy and intuitive to use -- though I only use the PPT to SCORM part of the iSpring Suite.
I think iSpring Suite is just soooo much easier to learn and use than Captivate. It just adds a plugin to PowerPoint and is very intuitive to use. I found Captivate difficult to figure out, and a lot more expensive.

For turning PPT into SCORM (and adding quizzes, etc) there just isn't anything easier to use.
