Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Joule as our agentic AI for just about everything we use SAP for: Supply Chain Management, Customer Experience, Financial Management, et cetera. We use it where ever we can. It helps us to make reports and understand information quickly and easily and efficiently. It really is used a lot.

Usability

Overall it's a very easy to use system. People who are familiar with systems like ChatGPT can use this very easily. However there is some skill in how to interact with an AI (sort of like there is with a human). It would be great if Joule could help the user interface with itself better. Very meta, but it would help those who are not as familiar with interfacing with AI chat bot type systems.

Alternatives Considered

Agentforce

Agent force is tied into Salesforce dot com directly. Since we are using SAP, it was a no brainer to use Joule rather than something like Agent force or Einstein. On top of that, Joule just seemed like a better product overall with better functionality. This is why we chose to use Joule over the competition.

It's particularly well suited for areas of financial insights. We are able to understand how we are doing from quarter to quarter and to understand where there are inconsistencies and where that might come from. It makes it much easier than to have a human pour through data and understand the nuances of the data.
