PLS Consulting has been using Keap since '16 and I've been using the software since '08. All employees use it regularly. We use across our whole business: Offer R&D, Marketing, Sales, Fulfillment, Operations, People, and Money. The system is so much more than just a marketing and sales platform.

Keap and ActiveCampaign share a lot of similar functionality. However, ActiveCampaign still has an older database-looking interface, where Keap is a modern and easy-to-use layout. Their automation builder is powerful but a little more restricted than Keap. It is quite linear and developing complex or looping customer journeys is really hard. ActiveCampaign does have the ability to add/remove from FB custom audiences out of the box, whereas Keap needs a 3rd party integration. However, I've heard rumors that Keap is developing their own integration too.

Keap is well suited for creating individual customer journeys across Marketing, Sales, and Fulfillment and managing those relationships. While it can be used for simple project management, we have a formal project management tool that we use in concert with Keap. If you are doing account-based selling with lots of contacts under one company, depending on what you need, you might need an enterprise-level tool to manage those.
