Overall Satisfaction with KeePass

I do not use it for business, but I do use it for personal use on my Android phone. It is very helpful to keep track of my passwords and to keep them organized. I do actually keep a folder for work purposes so in a way I use it for business as well.

Pros

  • password storage and organization
  • backup feature
  • Master password
  • supports passphrases

Cons

  • fingerprint implementation sometimes faulty
  • needs quick add feature
  • auto-fill feature
  • more secure passwords
  • limit password reuse
  • might not be needed due to passkeys
It is easy to use and navigate. Setting up backup to a cloud provider involves a bit more technical knowhow and I'm not sure how much support or tutorials are provided. It is easy to copy and paste passwords. Auto-full would be nice but I haven't looked into it much.
Delinea Secret Server is a similar product, but I feel it is not as easy to use. I am not sure if it has a mobile app. Its autofill and browser extension is nice to have. It seems like a more robust application than what I am doing which is primarily just password storage.

Do you think KeePass delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with KeePass's feature set?

Yes

Did KeePass live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of KeePass go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy KeePass again?

Yes

I really like the ability to backup the KeePass database to Google cloud so I always have it available. It will also keep an offline copy for you as well. It keeps my online presence much more secure as it makes it easier to not reuse passwords or use simple ones.
