Overall Satisfaction with Khoros Marketing (Formerly Spredfast + Lithium)

We utilize Khoros Marketing to create our social content calendar, working across Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube. Khoros Marketing has remained our source of truth for scheduling content, approving content, labeling content as different categories/campaigns, and providing a super-easy overview of day-to-day social plans. It is an easy place for us all to see what is still needed for posts, working with our design partners and copy team to make sure all pieces of content are final and ready to post.
  • Notes section for key points for team members
  • Being able to look back at when edits were made and by who
  • Overall content calendar view by day, across channels
  • TikTok capability within the platform
  • Posting Reels/video through Khoros Marketing
  • Tagging product and users on image for Instagram specifically
  • Quicker refresh as the calendar lags quite often unless refreshing every 2 minutes
  • Improved management of organic campaigns
  • Ease to pull social plans from time frames prior to compare
  • Quick PDF overview of social plans easy to download
We had a customer success manager who changed quite frequently but was typically very helpful when needed. We are a small team, so we did not always have time to utilize the strategic services or the customer success center as much as we would've liked, and mainly just used Khoros as a content calendar and scheduling tool.
I am not sure if this applies to our brand, as our customer care center team uses other platforms to monitor, as well as our ex-communications and PR team since we are such a large brand.
I think the limit on # of seats (unless paying significantly more) hindered us at times, as we have a large team of people creating social content and wanting to see our calendar, and we could not all be on the platform at one time. From a scalability rating, this drove it down for me.

We have been using three different platforms, including Khoros, the other two being Curalate and Dash Hudson. Curalate has a straightforward reporting tool and Dash Hudson as well, and it is so easy to post and schedule within the app that we have slowly started to move the majority of our actual scheduling to DH. However, Khoros still has the best overall content calendar view and the notes and ability to see when updates are made to a particular piece of content.
I think Khoros Marketing works excellent when it comes to collaborating with team members, clearly seeing who made edits when, and being able to hold users accountable for any changes, edits, or updates. For social marketing specifically, it is a great place to have all content in one place and have it as a source of truth for other team members hoping to see what we have planned. However, with the limited number of seats included with our plan, which is already pricey, it is difficult for everyone who needs access to have an account. We also have had many issues with the platform not updating, lagging, or other support issues with log-in information (not getting a security code) or the site itself freezing and closing down.
