Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use Kofax Power PDF to edit, combine, and encrypt PDF files for our organization. It is an invaluable tool for combining documents for our electronic record keeping that allows us to eliminate the need for paper-based records in our Finance Department. Also, we use the enhanced security encryption on our files daily to protect sensitive financial, payroll, and HR data.

Ease-of-Use

I have found Kofax Power PDF to be very easy to use. The toolbars are very straightforward and the similarities to the familiar Microsoft Office toolbar make the learning curve not steep to learn and train. Everything is well-designed and gets the job done.

The ability to combine multiple documents quickly and easily into a single file has been extremely valuable to our organization. We also enjoy the ability to add security to our sensitive financial and payroll data.

Likelihood to Recommend

The primary use for this product at my organization is for combining multiple files into single PDFs and adding additional password security to sensitive payroll data. For these purposes, Kofax Power PDF has been an excellent one-time purchase solution to improve the productivity of our finance team. I have not encountered any scenarios where the software has failed to meet our needs.
