Overall Satisfaction with Kofax Power PDF (formerly Nuance)
It is used every day by every person in our office. It allows us to manipulate PDF files and create PDF files. We use it for daily operations and communications.
- Edit text within PDFs.
- Rearrange documents.
- Add text.
- Edit text with in the documents.
- Allow you to select and move multiple text blocks at the same time.
- Make the cutting tool easier.
- It is a little expensive.
- Time saving.
- Less complicated.
It is easy to use. There is a bit of a learning curve at times with certain features of Kofax. For example, there is no way to send a document to another area in the document without click the Document Assembly button and that has confused some of my co-workers.
It was a company decision to use Kofax over the other types of software so I didn't really have a hand in it. However, I would still use it over Adobe because of Kofax's easy to understand interface and ability to manipulate documents well. However, you can use Adobe to ask others to sign. That is not something you can do through Kofax that I'm aware of.
