Overall Satisfaction with Kofax Power PDF (formerly Nuance Power PDF)
[Kofax Power PDF (formerly Nuance Power PDF) is used] to read, comment on .pdfs as well as converting to and from MS office apps. Also used to digitally sign and secure documents. Adobe Acrobat is used in places in the org. (for example Marketing).
Pros
- Easy to mark up documents
- Conversion to MS Office docs is flawless
- Easy to digitally sign and secure documents
- Easy to add and delete pages from other .pdf's
Cons
- Changing font and size when adding comments
- Have yet to figure out how to time stamp docs
- User I/F could be more intuitive
- Less expensive than Acrobat
- Save me time becaue easier to use than Acrobat
- Has more features and capability than Foxit and other competitors
Because it has a lot of capabilities the learning curve is fairly steep. As you use it more and more, it become second nature to use. Glad to see that with each rev. attention is paid to the user interface.
Has the most capabilities of any similar app. and is a better value. Easier to use than Acrobat.

Ease of use and user interface. We don't have time for steep learning curves. We need to be able to use a feature rich app out of the box.
I give Power.pdf my highest ranking. It's stable (never crashes), it does what I need it to, and it's reasonably priced. It makes my mr eproductive because I don't waste time figuring out how to execute a function.
