Kofax review meet all expectations
Overall Satisfaction with Kofax Power PDF (formerly Nuance Power PDF)
I have tried many different PDF programs from free to subscription type and have found Kofax Power PDF the best for day to day PDF handling. Easy to use for the novice with the tools available for more advanced users. Most of the use comes from filling in forms or creating PDF documents to share.
Pros
- Ease of use
- Document assembly
- Conversion to other platforms
- Thumbnail view
Cons
- Mark up
- Scaling drawings
- Highlighting
- The cost is great, being a one time purchase.
- Great savings over annual subscriptions.
- Tried Free one, all of them are worthless, no wonder they are free.
This is very important, for I get new people in all the time. With Kofax, I don't need to spend a great time training, most of the tools are intuitive and very self-explanatory. Unlike another program I use that requires many hours of training and even after the training is still very difficult to navigate. You have none of this with the Kofax.
Beats them all hands down. The rest of them lack tools, are difficult to navigate, do not have the thumbnail viewer that I find very important. I keep between 20 and 50 PDF's on my desktop at any time, to be able to glance and find the one I need without reading the file name or having to open each one is a great time saver.
