Overall Satisfaction with LambdaTest

Running the mobile automation test cases in different Android and iPhones mobiles. We use the execute a list of different test cases in different mobiles to validate the functionality working as expected. The reporting functionality in the LambdaTest helps in identifying the issues and execution performance of the test jobs.

Pros

  • Live Application Testing on real mobile devices
  • Automation Testing on different devices with logs
  • Reports having detailed analysis

Cons

  • Could introduce different mobile models for testing, especially best selling devices in the market.
  • Customisable plans for smaller organisations with limited usage
  • enabling UPI payments for Indian customers
  • Faster execution of test cases enables faster test completion
  • Detailed report for knowing and tracking down the issues
  • The Cost if comparatively lesser than the competitor which benefits small organisations
Easy to differentiate menus based on the functionality. One issue i have found is that user need to go to App Live screen to upload the application APK or IPA file for testing, which could be present in the App Automate screen as well. Identifying for the new users could be difficult.

It is more suitable for mobile testing and web testing on different devices which could be having different Operating Systems and screen size to run the testing on different scenarios and know the performance and efficiency of the application in each of the devices. The security features needs improvement by not allowing the user token in the API to access LambdaTest.
